The Kidron Valley
Three monumental tombs sit in the bottom of the Kidron Valley. On the far left is the so-called Pillar of Absalom and on the right side are the tombs of the sons of Hezir and of Zechariah. These tombs were constructed in the Hasmonean period just before the time of Christ and cannot be connected with biblical persons of the same name.
