Sunrise on Shavuot

It is traditional for Jews in Israel to stay up the whole night on the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot or Pentecost) studying the Tanakh (especially the Book of Ruth). Then as dawn approaches, they put their books away and begin to walk to the Kotel (Western Wall) to greet the sunrise with their morning prayers.
