Notley Lecture: “Between the Chairs: New Testament Evidence for the Hebrew Jesus Spoke”

Dr. R. Steven Notley is a contributor to Jerusalem Perspective and member of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research. He is Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at Nyack College in New York. In this lecture Dr. Notley discusses examples of how the Hebrew language influenced the Greek text of the canonical Gospels.

On October 25, 2014 Dr. R. Steven Notley delivered a lecture entitled “Between the Chairs: New Testament Evidence for the Hebrew Jesus Spoke” at the Lanier Theological Library in Houston, Texas. In his lecture Dr. Notley discusses examples of how the Hebrew language influenced the Greek text of the canonical Gospels.

I finally took the time to listen to this lecture. Wow. It was instructive, edifying, excellent and now I want to listen to it again and take notes. I need more time! Thank you Dr Notley.
